Maybe a little pin here or maybe a little tuck there? Not all facelifts are the same for the result you want. Maybe botox and filler is all that you would need or maybe not. There are a lot of types of facelifts and costs to consider.
What is a Mini Facelift?
This is a less invasive surgery to correct mild to moderate signs of aging to the lower face. It is a cheaper option to the cost of a full facelift and it has a short recovery time. This type of surgery is often called a “weekend lift”.
Depending on your age, budget, and lifestyle this might be a really great option for you. With this surgery not being as invasive also means it is not as long lasting as a full facelift would be.
What is a Full Facelift?
This is a very invasive surgery correcting moderate to advanced signs of aging over the entire face, not just the lower half. A traditional facelift will address the laxity of the neck and lower to mid face to dramatically tighten and lift the patient’s face. This will require a longer recovery time and be aware of excessive swelling after facelift surgery.
As you can imagine, this surgery will cost more than a mini. A lot of older patients will opt for this procedure since they usually want more dramatic results. The results are longer lasting as well, you get what you put into it.
What do you want?
We believe if you are younger around the ages of 30s-40s a mini facelift would be a great option to help with aging knowing that the results won’t last long term. By the time you reach the age of a full facelift will be the time the mini has run its course.
If you are older 40s and up, a full facelift will be worth the time and investment to feel young again. It’s a longer lasting surgery so you can enjoy the results for the rest of your life.
Luckily for you Aspen Facial Plastics can do a mini to a full facelift with young and old patients. We will work with your budget to get the result you want. Please contact us for consulting with Dr. Amir Allak to feel like yourself again.
